Konstantinos Kountouras

Dr. Konstantinos (Dinos) Kountouras is a Lecturer in the Department of Operative Dentistry in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He qualified from the University of Liverpool in England in 1991. He received his Master of Science in Prosthodontics from the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London in 1995.
In 1997 he completed his postgraduate studies in Implant Dentistry and received the Certificate in Implant Dentistry from the department of Implant Dentistry of New York University, USA. He received his PhD in Biomaterials from the University of London in England in 2000 for his research work on bonded composite resin systems. He is an affiliate member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and also a graduate of the Dawson Academy UK. He is the Founding and Honorary President of the Hellenic Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry. He is the Scientific Editor of the Greek Edition of the European Journal of Esthetic Dentistry by Quintessence Publications. He is a visiting lecturer in 'The Geneva Concept' Continuing Education Program in the University of Geneva, Switzerland. 
Since 2001 he has been working in his own private practice in Thessaloniki, Greece with a special clinical interest in implant dentistry and minimal invasive complete aesthetic rehabilitation.  In 2012 he became the Medical Director of Aesthetic Dentistry of Arrail Dental Group, China. Dr. Konstantinos (Dinos) Kountouras has been publishing and lecturing to international conferences in the fields of Minimal Invasive Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry.

The audience will learn how to choose the most suitable shades from among the currently available composites and also how to handle them clinically for predictable optimal aesthetic results.
